RTR-5W for Windows

Overview
The [RTR-5W for Windows] software has been designed to allow for the carrying out of various tasks such as network settings, downloading of recorded data and graph display of recorded data, as well as the management of Groups of Remote Units.

[RTR-5W for Windows] is made up of 5 applications, complete with our Auto-Download feature that allows for the downloading of logged data at either a set interval or at a set time of day. [RTR-5W for Windows] (the main software) allows for the basic management of Groups of Remote Units, the monitoring of current readings and the settings for Remote Units. The [Network Settings Utility] facilitates the setting up of a network. With [Temperature・Humidity Graph], you can view downloaded recorded data in graph form. Also included are [Multi-Scale Graph], our multi-channel data viewing software and [Event Viewer], which permits for the display of logged pulse and event data and the easy printing of graphs as displayed.

After installation has been completed, [RTR-5W for Windows], [Event Viewer], [Network Setting Utility], [Multi-Scale Graph] and [Temperature・Humidity Graph] will be registered in the Window's <Start> Menu. Open by clicking on the application you wish to use.

[RTR-5W for Windows] has four main basic functions.
Making Settings for the Controlling of an RTR-5W by PC over a network.
Via a network, it is possible to make not only network settings in the RTR-5W, but also recording condition settings and warning settings as well. Even, if there are more than one RTR-5W connected to the network, it is easy to make settings by viewing the list in the Network Settings Utility and make all necessary settings.
Register and Make Settings for Remote Units as well as Divide Remotes into Groups.
RTR-5W for Windows allows you to register any logger in the RTR-5 Series as a Remote Unit and carry out settings for that Remote.

Also, if more than one Remote Unit has been registered, the unit s can be divided into Groups for easy management.
Interpret Data in Graphs and Tables
Recorded data can be displayed in colorful easy to interpret graphs and tables and analyzed by using [Temperature /Humidity Graph] and [Multi-Scale Graph]. Full use of the Windows interface makes the operation simple yet dramatic.
Export Data to be Saved or Printed
Recorded data can be easily saved into files or exported for printing. It is possible to convert the data for a specified range (time period) to common text file format, so that it can be exported to spreadsheet software such as Excel or Lotus.

Remote Registration / Group Settings
Register loggers in the RTR-5 Series as Remote Units and register into Groups

Recording Start/Stop Settings
Make settings to start and stop recording in registered Remote Unit(s).
Warning Monitoring Settings
Monitoring at each location for warnings is carried out and if any of the gathered data exceeds the set limit, a notification can be sent via e-mail. Here it is possible to make settings for the recipient address for the warning mail and for the settings to turn ON or OFF the Contact External Output function.

Downloading Recorded Data
Download recorded data via a network from any registered Remote Unit.

Gathering Current Readings
Gather current measurement readings from any registered Remote Unit.

Network Settings Utility
The Network Settings Utility contains operational settings for such functions as Network Initialization Settings 、Warning Report Settings、Gather Current Reading Settings and others.
NOTE:
If you open the Network Settings Utility on multiple computers in the same network, it may not work properly. Please open the Network Settings Utility from only one computer at a time in the same network (same broadcast domain).

Temperature/Humidity Graph
This exclusive software application was designed for use with the RTR-5 Series to help manage data, including the display of recorded temperature and humidity data in graph form. This software is also compatible with recorded data from TR-7S/TR-7U/TR-7W/RTR/RPR-7 and with it their data files can also be read and viewed.

Graph Display
It is possible to simultaneously view 8 channels of data. It is also possible to hide, re-order and delete channels when necessary. Moreover, data recording start times and graph display colors can be changed as desired.

By moving the two cursors to points on the graph it is possible to view the recorded value for those particular points and calculate the difference in the values at those specific points.

Calculate and view the highest, lowest and average readings for a desired range.

Viewing Downloaded Data
The [Temp / Humidity Graph] program will read data files that have been created from the downloaded data from the loggers and to help you analyze that data will allow you to create graphs, data lists, text files, and print data.

View Recorded Data List
You can view all the recorded data including its time and date as a list. In the data list, the highest, lowest and average readings for a specified range (time period) will appear, distinguished by different colors. This window is different from a standard dialog box, in that you can change the size and scroll the list up / down or left / right.
Graph & Data List Printing
By clicking, the List Print Preview Dialog Box will appear. The Print Preview Display will take the place of the Main Window and the image of what will be printed will be displayed. By using the Print Preview Display Toolbar you can carry out various operations such as enlarge or reduce the display as desired, and start printing.
