Important Notes
- Please also update your RTR-500DC firmware if it is not the latest version.
- This software is for FCC type (US) only, and cannot be used with the CE type (EU) products.
- Click here if your product is CE type (EU) model.
Installation Procedure
- Double-click the update package to extract it to your hard drive.
- Follow instructions in Set up Program
- RTR-500DC for Windows will automatically be installed on the Hard Disk.

- When deleting a registered Remote Unit or Repeater from the Base Unit, the Remote Unit or Repeater is now initialized automatically.
- Fixed a problem that occurred when you attempt to start recording on a pulse logger (RTR505B or RTR-505 with pulse input module) which has been set to monitor for warnings. The recording started even with an unacceptable combination of Recording Interval and Warning Judgment Time settings.
- Added a warning message that appears when you attempt to start recording from the Remote Unit Settings menu, indicating that recorded data will be deleted from the Remote Unit by starting a new recording session.
- Added a warning message that appears when you attempt to change the recording interval from the Remote Unit's Properties window, indicating that all recorded data will be deleted by applying the change.
- Changed the spelling from "judgement" to "judgment" for Warning Judgment Time in Warning Settings.
- Fixed a problem that occurred when downloading and saving recorded data as a file in a preset format which includes the model name, where the file name could include an incorrect model name from either the new or old series devices. (For example, RTR501B could be displayed as RTR501 and vice versa.)
- Fixed a problem that occurred when opening T&D Graph after downloading data via RTR-500DC Manager, where the graph was not displayed.
- Fixed a problem in which some dialog messages were displayed in Japanese.
- Updated the Introductory Manual and Operation Guide.
